Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member to support both front-end and pharmacy operations in a store setting. You will execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices, receive and count deliveries, price adjustments, and perform planogram validation.

You’ll also help maintain stock accuracy and assist in the pickup program while ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include scanning deliveries, posting pharmacy shipments, and assisting with price

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries. Focuses on One Box receiving.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments.
• Completes pharmacy inventory activities including recalls following Hazardous Waste Policy, vendor returns, and damaged salvage returns.
• Completes execution of all pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and signage.
