Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage front end and pharmacy stock, ensuring accurate counts, pricing, and on‑shelf availability across the store. You will coordinate receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, and support planogram accuracy while maintaining asset protection standards.

Under pharmacist supervision, you’ll post pharmacy shipments, monitor recalls, and assist with inventory audits.

Qualifications

• Retail inventory management experience, including front end and pharmacy areas.
• Ability to receive, count, order, and process returns accurately.
• Familiarity with planograms, pricing, and on‑shelf availability.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Ensure On‑Shelf Availability and planogram accuracy across departments.
• Review reports and systems affecting on‑hand balances and pricing.
• Assist with asset protection: handling losses, shortages, and vendor overages.
• Open/close store as needed and perform cash handling duties.
• Post pharmacy shipments and monitor recalls under pharmacist supervision.
