Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to execute inventory practices across store and pharmacy, ensuring accuracy in receiving, counting, pricing, and returns. You will monitor stock, assist with planograms, and support asset protection while delivering a positive customer experience.

The role involves coordinating with pharmacy leadership, handling daily store operations, and contributing to On-Shelf Availability and pricing tasks.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• “Achieving expectations” rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal candidates only).
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage planograms, pricing, and stock.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and handle claims for shortages, overages, and damaged goods.
• Open/close store in designated stores as needed, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
