Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices in both front-end and pharmacy areas. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, returns, pricing, and planogram accuracy to ensure on-shelf availability.

The role emphasizes accuracy in reports and system applications, asset protection, and adherence to SOPs. You will also assist in opening/closing and in daily store operations with a focus on customer service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year in retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices across store and pharmacy.
• Review reports to ensure accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain asset protection and process vendor returns, overages, and shortages.
• Open/close store in the absence of management and handle cash and POS duties as required.
• Support pricing changes, markdowns, and accurate signage in all departments.
• Assist in ordering and receiving inventory, including planogram compliance and shelf readiness.
