Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented inventory and operations teammate to support front end and pharmacy processes, pricing, planograms, and vendor returns. The role emphasizes accurate stock counts, effective vendor communications, and adherence to inventory SOPs.

Responsibilities include customer engagement, resolving issues, and assisting with store opening/closing duties, cash handling, and POS operations. Prior retail experience and flexibility in scheduling are valued.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for front end and pharmacy.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Support warehouse and vendor inventory management, including receiving and counting deliveries.
• Open and close the store as needed, including cash handling and POS duties.
• Coaches team on inventory systems, pricing, and planogram compliance.
