Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented team member to manage store inventory across front end and pharmacy. You will assist in receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, and help maintain accurate planograms.

You will support reporting systems, ensure pricing accuracy, and participate in asset protection. Expect a flexible schedule and duties including opening/closing and customer service to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and ensures planograms accuracy and full in-store inventory process.
• Reviews reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes pricing activities, handles returns, and manages asset protection for front end and pharmacy.
• Opens/closes store in absence of management, handling cash and POS duties where required.
• Engages customers, assists with products/services, and resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Coaches team on inventory management processes, including receiving orders and scanning deliveries.
• Performs warehouse/vendor inventory management tasks and ensures postings for pharmacy shipments are correct.
• Maintains inventory counts and compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
