Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support both front-end and pharmacy inventory. You will execute, monitor, and train on best practices, helping ensure accurate counts, planograms, and pricing.

You will review reports, manage asset protection, and assist in opening/closing duties, cash handling, and stock readiness. This role emphasizes on-shelf availability and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Manage front-end and pharmacy asset protection, including recalls and vendor overages.
• Open/close the store as needed, handle cash, ensure floor and stock room readiness.
• Lead on-duty tasks, coach team on inventory processes, and support pickup program.
