Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented associate to support inventory management for both front end and pharmacy. You will receive, count, order, and facilitate returns while ensuring planogram accuracy and proper pricing.

The role includes opening/closing duties and basic cash handling, under pharmacist supervision where needed. The position emphasizes customer service, issue resolution, and coaching peers on inventory processes and POS usage to maintain stock integrity and a delightful store

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and ensure accuracy of planograms and pricing.
• Open and close the store in absence of management where required and handle cash responsibilities.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes and ensure accurate postings.
