Oatey Company in Cleveland, OH seeks a highly visible supply chain supervisor in Receiving to lead material planning, inventory control, warehousing and cycle counting. You’ll develop inventory plans to exceed customer service levels and partner with sales, operations and support teams.

The role requires MRP experience (SAP/Oracle), strong supervisory skills, and a track record of Lean improvements. You’ll spearhead accuracy, safety, SOPs, and annual inventory processes while aligning with

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of planning and scheduling with MRP in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Significant supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse/receiving operation.
• Strong initiative and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities.
• Knowledge of key inventory metrics and Lean practices.

Responsabilités

• Supervise receiving team including Material Handlers and Inventory Specialists.
• Manage all purchased inventory to balance working capital with production needs.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead Lean initiatives to minimize inventory.
• Coordinate with production planning to align demand and supply.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support annual inventory processes.
• Develop SOPs for material planning processes and systems.
• Present quantitative findings clearly to stakeholders.
