Oatey, located in Parma, Ohio, is seeking a highly visible supply chain professional to manage material planning and inventory strategy. This hands-on role drives service levels and working capital through proactive planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production, sourcing, and demand planning to balance inventory with demand, lead continuous improvement, and maintain SOPs. APICS certification is preferred; a four-year degree is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field required.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with MRP in SAP and/or Oracle or other ERP software.

Responsabilités

• Manage all purchased inventory to balance working capital with production needs.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead continuous improvement to minimize inventory per company goals.
• Coordinate with production planning to align demand plan and minimize material shortages.
• Cross-train to support scheduling, distribution, and reconciliation activities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for material planning processes.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and enforced.
