Job summary

Oatey is seeking a highly organized Material Planner/Supply Chain professional in Parma, Ohio to manage inventory planning and ensure reliable production and delivery. You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to meet service objectives and optimize material flow.

The role emphasizes hands-on planning, Lean principles, and continuous improvement to minimize shortages and excess inventory while supporting new product introductions and scheduling activities.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• APICS certification preferred.
• MRP experience with SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Manage all purchased inventory to balance working capital with production needs.
• Communicate shortages and expediting status across functions.
• Lead Lean initiatives to minimize inventory per company goals.
• Coordinate with production planning to align demand plan and reduce raw material shortages.
• Develop SOPs and maintain planning processes and systems.
