Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years experience in material handling.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Uses independent judgement to resolve supply problems.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/material drawings.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous supply of materials to production/assembly areas.
• Kit materials on the production line and ensure parts are at origin.
• Pick parts from Kanban or storage and place into storage bin.
• Maintain correct quantities to support production needs.
• Operate forklift or hand truck for delivery or picking.
• Log inventory and inspect parts for damages.
• Expedite parts and resolve shortages with independent judgement.
• Document material movement using tablets.
• Maintain FIFO and perform material audits as needed.

Education
