Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler to support daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. You will use SAP to process goods receipts and inventory movements while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes operating material handling equipment, performing cycle counts, and collaborating with warehouse, logistics, procurement, quality, and service teams to foster operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in related field.
• 1+ years in warehouse, logistics, distribution or related environment.
• Experience with SAP or other WMS; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification; emphasis on safety.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, store, pick, pack, and ship materials and customer returns with accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Perform goods receipts, goods issues, inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations in SAP or other WMS.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization through proper storage, labeling, processing, and 5S standards.
• Support inventory investigations, non-conforming materials, damaged shipments, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Contribute to safety, quality, environmental and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
