Job summary

Crown Technical Systems in Fontana, CA is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our facility. This role supports material flow, BOM accuracy and on-time production, ensuring efficient stock control.

You will perform cycle counts, staging, ERP documentation, and material handling with safety of personnel and equipment in mind, collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimize inventory levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.
• Ability to operate powered equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials received are staged in correct area and labeled accordingly.
• Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts; document discrepancies within ERP.
• Accurately pull and stage material for manufacturing jobs according to BOM and work orders.
• Identify any material issues to minimize disruptions in stock transfer orders.
• Fulfill urgent materials requests as they come up.
• Verify all documentation (stock transfer orders, BOMs, etc.) is completed accurately.
• Distribute materials to production teams by verifying model numbers and quantities; ensure materials distributed coordinate with the BOM.
• Account for materials distributed in the ERP system.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
