Job summary

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator in Fontana, CA to support inbound and outbound shipments. Report to the Warehouse Manager; coordinate receiving, staging, and documentation to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.

On a typical day you will load/unload deliveries, verify counts, create receipts, inspect materials, manage inventory records, and prepare bills of lading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Valid California Class C Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to count, verify items, and maintain inventory records.
• Proficient with MS Office and inventory software.
• Ability to operate powered equipment including a forklift and scissors lift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks.
• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; reports discrepancies.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Performs inspections on received material and product; refuse delivery if not meeting quality standards.
• Maintains inventory management systems to ensure orders are updated and billing documents provided.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product for pickup by carrier.
• Make deliveries to customers in box truck, as needed.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
