Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a seasoned Material Manager to lead material planning, inventory control, warehousing and inbound/outbound logistics to ensure uninterrupted production. You will optimize inventory levels and drive cost efficiency across the end-to-end materials function.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in materials management or supply chain in manufacturing.
Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of inventory, planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize material planning strategies to align inventory with production schedules.
Monitor material availability, maintain inventory accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with procurement to improve on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Oversee warehouse, inbound/outbound logistics, and shipping accuracy.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices.
Lead daily tier meetings and drive Lean, Kaizen, Kanban initiatives.
Coach and develop the materials team and monitor KPIs.
