Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will assist with receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms, while also supporting asset protection and daily store operations.

In the leader-on-duty role, you will open/close the store, handle cash and POS tasks, and coach teammates on warehouse and vendor processes to ensure accurate on-hand balances and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and manage returns.
• Open and close the store as leader on duty, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
• Coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory management and ensure on-shelf availability.
• Support deliveries, One Box receiving, and Walgreens Pickup Program.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and comply with state laws for regulated products.
