Job summary

Walgreens in a store setting seeks a detail-oriented inventory and operations associate to manage front end and pharmacy stock, receiving, pricing, and planogram compliance. You will monitor inventory accuracy, assist with vendor returns, and support price changes while staying compliant with local regulations.

As a leader on duty in designated stores, you greet customers, resolve issues, coach teammates, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and manages planograms, pricing, and stock accuracy across departments.
• Reviews reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and signage accuracy.
• Assists in front end operations including cash handling and POS tasks as designated.
