Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store inventory associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will help receive, count, price, and return merchandise, and ensure accurate planograms and On-Shelf Availability.

In this role you will review reports, manage pricing, support stock levels, and coach team on warehouse and vendor processes. You may open/close the store as needed and must deliver a friendly, efficient customer experience while upholding company

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and ensures planograms accuracy and merchandise handling.
• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and POS tasks where required.
• Engages customers and delivers a positive customer experience while modelling Walgreens service traits.
