Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to report to the General Manager and oversee HUB operations, including timely pulling and shipping of orders. The role requires collaboration with store management on cycle counts, plan-o-grams, stocking, and daily record-keeping.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or GED, strong communication and math skills, and experience with inventory management.

Qualifications

• Must have strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Basic math computations and numerical accuracy required.
• Experience with inventory management and cycle counts preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• If a HUB order can’t be filled, call servicing store before next HUB run detailing reorder steps.
• Perform cycle counts in the parts department with store management.
• Assist in completing plan-o-grams for the parts department.
• Stock all parts and maintain accurate inventories.
• Complete callbacks and MAXI changes in the parts department.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and training requirements.
