- Retrieve required materials for Production Orders and Reservations from various storage types and locations
- Attend and participate in daily production meetings
- Handle temperature-controlled, inventoried material from multiple warehouse locations
- Perform ERP transactions in SAP
- Process Transfer Orders
- Reprioritize tasks based on schedule changes and business needs
- Operate manual and motorized warehouse equipment
- Maintain training requirements, warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Coordinate transfer and reconciliation of materials between facilities and complete required documentation
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Interact with QC, R&D, Manufacturing Sciences, Planning and Quality for reservation fulfillment
- Pull material for critical production schedules and return material to appropriate storage locations
- Deliver and retrieve raw materials, semi-finished goods or finished goods using the company vehicle
- Train, mentor and provide feedback to new team members and ensure processes are followed
- Coordinate with Quality Inspection for critical material releases
- Participate in special projects and activities
- Identify issues, present possible solutions and seek approval
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert during internal and external inventory audits
- Act as departmental representative during internal and external audits
- Delegate tasks effectively and efficiently
- Follow safety and general warehouse rules and policies in a regulated environment
- Report to the Manager, Warehouse Operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or AA with related experience
- 3–4 years in related experience with high school diploma
- At least 2 years of GMP experience in a regulated environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Computer knowledge and use of email and system applications
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong mathematics skills
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Knowledge of dangerous goods and/or hazardous material handling
- Ability to prioritize daily workloads and meet aggressive deadlines
- Effective communication and customer service interaction
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Independent-thinking and solution-oriented approach
- Proficient and certified on all warehouse equipment
- Proficient in ERP systems, including controls, functionalities and material management
- Authorized to operate the company vehicle
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or manipulate objects up to 55 pounds and frequently or continuously handle up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in 2–8C or -20C walk-in units for extended periods
- Ability to handle dry ice
- Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of stated requirements
