Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Lead to lead a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to meet daily goals. You will collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other leaders to drive results and address operational issues.

You will implement process improvements, use workload planning tools, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure quality standards across functions. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on problem solving in a high-volume distribution center.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years' experience with WMS/inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Proven leadership experience in warehouse operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
• Strong clerical and data entry skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to interact with all management levels and support teams.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform basic math.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

• Work closely with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other operations leaders to drive results


• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the functional area


• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms


• Use workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload and fulfill orders to standards


• Investigate discrepancies and variances


• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions


• Support execution of processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy


• Perform warehouse bin accuracy activities and maintain inventory shrink


• Utilize the Order Management System and material handling equipment


• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of two to four years’ experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility


• Previous leadership experience


• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience


• Basic clerical and data entry skills


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and support teams


• Ability to transport up to 20 lbs.


• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations


• Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency


• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision


• Ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others


• Ability to work constructively under stress and pressure with high workloads and deadlines


• Ability to use relevant material handling equipment, including forklifts


• Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying heights, temperatures, and moderate, consistent noise levels


• Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and occasional non-standard work hours as business requires


• Proficiency with Google Suite is a bonus


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is a bonus


• Experience with process improvements such as Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen is a bonus


• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
