Position Summary

The Manager, Supply Chain Finance is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods, services, and information. This role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and process improvement to meet organizational objectives. The Manager, Supply Chain Finance will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Finance, Quality, and Distribution, to align supply chain strategies with business goals. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a focus on cost reduction, regulatory compliance, material availability, and quality.



  • Strategic Planning and Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support organizational objectives and long-term forecasting needs.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.

  • Introduce and optimize workflows, operating procedures, and technology to improve operational efficiency.

  • Supplier and Risk Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and service providers.

  • Negotiate and establish agreements such as VMI, consignment stock, and MSAs to enhance flexibility and cost efficiency.

  • Develop supplier scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost savings, and quality metrics.

  • Assess supply chain risks (e.g., inventory shortages, supplier disruptions, geopolitical changes) and develop contingency plans for supply continuity.

  • Inventory & Demand planning:

  • Ensure optimal stock levels by balancing availability, cost efficiency, and demand fulfillment.

  • Minimize inventory obsolescence while maintaining service levels.

  • Oversee implementation of FIFO, LIFO, or other inventory management methods to optimize inventory turnover.

  • Develop strategies to reduce handling times and improve warehouse performance.

  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to align demand planning with supply chain operations.

  • Plan and execute strategies based on Integrated Business Planning (IBP) inputs.

  • Cost Management and Financial Alignment

  • Monitor and control inventory carrying costs (storage, insurance, obsolescence) while identifying cost reduction opportunities.

  • Establish and track supply chain budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

  • Work closely with finance, operations, and sales to align supply chain activities with business goals and cost targets.

  • Technology and Innovation:

  • Oversee the integration of supply chain management software to improve tracking, reporting, and real-time inventory visibility.

  • Identify and implement automation and process innovations to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Stay informed of emerging technological trends and recommend improvements.

  • Sustainability and Compliance:

  • Implement sustainable inventory practices, such as waste reduction and packaging optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and QMS functions (e.g., training, Change Requests, NCRs, SOPs, and packet revisions).

Skills & Abilities

Essential Duty Definition:



  • Language: Fluent in English (Oral/Written). Spanish (Oral/Written), a plus.

  • Proficiency in business tools, software applications, and technology such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), reporting software (PowerBI), and ERP systems (Sage X3).

  • Strong ability to design and optimize processes to meet organizational goals efficiently.

  • Experience in guiding and motivating teams to achieve high performance and operational success.

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and emergency preparedness principles.

  • Familiarity with American Association of Tissue Banks, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazardous Analysis.

  • Understanding of Quality Management Principles.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as required, possible weekends, and holidays on short notice.

  • Forklift Operator Certification or ability to obtain certification, a plus.



Position Expertise/Qualifications


  • Highschool Diploma, required.

  • Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or equivalent, preferred.

  • ASCM Certification (CPIM, CSCP), required.

  • 5+ years’ experience in inventory control, required.

  • 5+ years' experience in material handling and warehouse management systems, required.



Physical Requirements


  • Sedentary work that generally requires sitting and/or standing.

  • Occasional warehouse operations requiring lifting of a maximum 50 pounds.
