Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage and monitor store inventory across front end and pharmacy, ensuring accurate counts, pricing, and timely returns. The role includes scanning deliveries, posting pharmacy orders, and maintaining on-shelf availability in planogrammed areas.

Responsibilities include supporting inventory processes, assisting with vendor communications, and upholding store procedures under the pharmacist-in-charge. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior retail or Walgreens experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scan deliveries while vendor is in store; manage One Box receiving and correct inaccuracies.
• Under pharmacist-in-charge supervision, verify pharmacy shipments and postings for stocked products.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments, including disposals and returns.
• Assist with pricing changes, markdowns, and ensuring accurate signage across departments.
• Support front end and pharmacy ordering by placing expense item orders and monitoring for excess orders.
