Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team-oriented Associate to manage store inventory and assist in the pharmacy workflow. You will handle receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensure planogram accuracy while supporting front-end operations.

The role requires basic retail experience, fluent English, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You will contribute to customer satisfaction through proactive service and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and execute.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes; validate planograms.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection, and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods including prescription drugs.
• Open and close the store in designated locations when required, including cash handling and cashier duties.
