Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking a Cycle Counter in Stockton, CA to perform scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts in a high-volume distribution center. You will ensure counts reconcile with system on-hand quantities and collaborate across departments to improve inventory accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work with WMS systems; training will cover NTS/AS400 as applicable and occupational certifications within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment preferred; motivated candidates with no prior experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and walk-off counts on assigned locations, sustaining a count accuracy standard of 98% or greater.
• Navigate WMS (NTS) to create, view, and manage cycle count batches, self-initiating counts and identifying, root-causing, and correcting variances without leadership direction.
• Develop working knowledge of warehouse processes across supporting departments to understand how inventory accuracy impacts the broader operation.
• Engage with the Sr. Cycle Counter as primary mentor and resource during onboarding and beyond.
• Participate in regular check-ins with the DC IC Manager and contribute to a culture of accountability, interoperability, and empathy.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
