Job summary

BendPak Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for our Theodore, Alabama distribution facility. The role directs cycle counting, inventory research, location accuracy, replenishment, and outbound audits while leading the inventory control team.

You will partner with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, Accounting, and IT to maintain accurate records and drive continuous improvement. The supervisor will ensure accurate system transactions in TWL and related warehouse systems,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inventory control experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of supervisory, lead, or inventory coordination experience.
• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop inventory control specialists and clerks.
• Direct cycle counting, location accuracy, replenishment, and put-away accuracy.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure 99.8% shipping accuracy across orders.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and standardize work instructions.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Maintain inventory records and support month-end reconciliation.
• Train team on RF scanners, TWL functions, and inventory tools.
• Prepare variance reports and root-cause findings for management.
