Job summary

BendPak is a leading manufacturer of vehicle repair equipment based in Theodore, Alabama. The Inventory Control Supervisor will direct cycle counting, research discrepancies, and oversee put-away accuracy to maintain precise inventory records.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with Operations, Purchasing, and IT is essential for continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 3 years inventory control experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year supervising or coordinating inventory activities; APICS certification a plus.
• Experience with TWL or Infor systems; proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control specialists, clerks, and material handlers.
• Direct daily operations, coaching, and workload distribution.
• Train staff on inventory control procedures, RF scanners, and SOPs.
• Foster continuous improvement and accountability in the inventory team.
• Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Maintain SOPs, standard work, and inventory procedures.
• Monitor KPIs, cycle counts, receiving accuracy, and put-away.
• Lead cycle counting programs and annual physical counts.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Communicate min/max, reorder points, and safety stock adjustments.
