Kenworth Sales Company in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to assist management with coordinating and maintaining parts inventory across the dealership network. You will handle stock levels, vendor communications, cycle counts, and daily reporting to ensure accurate inventory data.

The position requires good organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a fast-paced warehouse and office environment, with opportunities for growth and strong benefits.

Formación

• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information.
• High school diploma or equivalent; clearly legible handwriting.
• 2 years general office experience with understanding of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, basic accounting.
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading and Freight preferred but not required.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Run and update PACCAR reports, input all stock orders and assist with emergency orders daily.
• Keep prices current.
• Monitor and process credits, RMAs outstanding and shipping authorizations.
• Files departmental paperwork.
• Assists Parts Manager with special projects including cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Maintain good communications with team members to minimize mistakes and maximize teamwork.

JobSummary:

The primary function of the Inventory Control Clerk is to assist Management with the coordination and maintenance of parts inventory.


Salary Minimum and Maximum: $20 - $25 per hour.

DutiesandResponsibilities:

• Assist with stock and emergency purchasing, reports, vendor stock and core returns, order levels, receiving and related functions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position involves both sedentary and other work.
• For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, telephoning, and filing.
• For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers.
• Lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis.
• Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
