Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support accurate, timely movement of products and materials through inventory, scheduling, transportation, and related operations. The role involves cycle counts, data integrity, and coordination with multiple teams at the Sulphur site in Louisiana.

You will handle SAP-based processes, create purchase orders, and assist with month-end inventory reporting.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; SAP proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory balances and product movements using approved systems.
• Enter and verify inventory, shipment, and transaction data for accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts, reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Coordinate with scheduling, production, warehouse and transport teams.
• Support planning and tracking of truck, rail, or other transports.
• Review orders and schedules for delays, shortages, or exceptions.
• Maintain documentation and records of inventory transactions and compliance.
• Handle month-end and semi-annual inventory reporting to finance.
• Create Purchase Orders in SAP R3 for materials orders.
• Backup Transportation Technician as needed.
