Job summary

Innova Solutions seeks an Inventory Control Specialist in Menlo Park, CA to execute and maintain inventory transactions in NetSuite, manage work orders, and ensure BOM compliance. The role requires hands-on ERP/MRP experience, strong Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail to reconcile discrepancies and support month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in inventory control or related ERP administration.
• Experience creating and processing manufacturing work orders and related inventory transactions.
• Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material consumption.
• Experience researching transaction history and discrepancies.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and pivot tables.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions.
• Organizational and documentation skills.
• Experience in electronics/high-tech manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain accurate inventory transactions in NetSuite, including adjustments, transfers, returns, reversals, corrections, rework, scrap, and material consumption.
• Create, maintain, process, and close manufacturing work orders based on approved production requirements and documentation.
• Process component consumption/issuance and assembly builds aligned with BOMs and records.
• Review BOM revisions and engineering changes and update inventory transactions accordingly.
• Research NetSuite history to investigate inventory discrepancies across work orders and movements.
• Reconcile BOM consumption with ERP transactions and fix missing or duplicate postings with authorization.
• Support inventory reconciliation for contract manufacturers and month-end activities.
• Generate recurring NetSuite inventory reports and reconcile data in Excel.
