Job summary

Tenet Corp. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to lead inbound receiving and optimize warehouse inventory levels through accurate binning and location strategies.

You will manage cycle counts, reconciliations, and ERP updates, ensuring timely documentation and safe, efficient operations. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; familiarity with NetSuite and WMS/ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inbound logistics, inventory control, production, or a related field.
• Experience with computerized inventory control, WMS, or ERP systems required; NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and SOPs preferred.
• Forklift certification required or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound receiving, unloading, inspection, staging, put-away, and related material handling; enforce safe, accurate practices.
• Ensure receiving documentation, PO receipts, and WMS/ERP updates are complete and accurate.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, location assignments, bin setup, transfers, and adjustments.
• Perform cycle counts, recounts, physical counts, bin audits, and spot checks.
• Investigate and document inventory discrepancies and communicate escalated issues.
• Improve receiving and inventory accuracy through root-cause analysis and standard work.
• Create and maintain SOPs for inbound and inventory-control activities; train teammates.
• Keep inventory areas organized, labeled, and compliant with safety standards.
• Support tracking of slow-moving or nonconforming inventory; provide recommendations.
• Prepare inventory and receiving reports for internal partners; assist as needed.
• Collaborate to resolve issues affecting receiving, shipping, replenishment, and customer service.
• Maintain organized records of inbound paperwork per company policy.
• Promote PPE usage and a safe work environment.
• Perform warehouse duties as needed and provide professional customer service.
• Support Branch Leader and Warehouse Lead with special assignments.
