Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to manage daily product counts, reconcile variances, and align inventory with the Warehouse Management System. You will handle damaged or salvaged items and support quality control at receipt and shipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in inventory/shipping, strong math skills, and proficiency with MS Excel. Excellent communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of inventory control, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work independently.
• Strong math skills and ability to read/write/speak English fluently.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee inventory control functions for high accuracy.
• Develop and control inventory processes to meet financial needs.
• Resolve issues affecting service, operations and finance.
• Implement SOPs for inventory improvements.
• Lead accurate placement of inventory in picking locations and resolve issues.
• Address quality control issues for damaged or poor condition items.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
