Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the store's inventory.

This role requires experience in retail inventory, POS analysis, and strong Excel skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, competitive base pay starting at $15.24 per hour, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail setting.
• Point of sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the store's safe lifting procedures.
• Adhere to the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Report tagging or SKU discrepancies to department managers.
• Audit the BFR daily as per SOP.
• Audit inbound/outbound trucks for movement accuracy.
• Audit the SRR processes per SOP.
• Audit the RTV processes per SOP.
• Protect facility security by reporting issues.
• Audit customer merchandise storage area and resolve issues with CEM/Operations Manager.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory.
• Apply 'Sample' tape to wood boxes written off to 'Sam' and address if missing.
• Run OSDR reports monthly to ensure correct movement of merchandise.
• Document findings for review and archiving.
• Verify at least 10 customer receipts daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate daily discrepancies to Store Management and propose fixes.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP.
