Job summary

Aerotek is hiring two Inventory Clerks for San Leandro, CA. Training on swing shift (1pm–9:30pm) for 2–3 weeks, then mornings (5am–1:30pm). You will count finished goods and raw materials, verify locations, and reconcile inventory daily to maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities include FEFO/FIFO, monitoring shelf life, recalls, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and cross-team support. Must lift up to 50 lb and communicate in English; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 12–18 months of relevant experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with ERP systems and generating reports in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct finished goods and raw material counts to ensure accurate storage locations.
• Reconcile inventory daily and investigate discrepancies.
• Apply FEFO and FIFO principles for inventory management.
• Monitor short shelf life items and slow-moving products to reduce loss.
• Lead mock recalls and product withdrawals following lot codes.
• Maintain cycle count schedule and investigate discrepancies with root cause analysis.
• Support team members and assist where needed.
