Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Inventory Clerk for a first-shift contract-to-hire role in San Marcos, CA. You will maintain inventory records, organize materials, and assemble production kits to support manufacturing schedules and customer orders.

The role requires experience with ERP systems, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and standing for the full shift. You will perform cycle counts, bin audits, and collaborate with production, loading, and sales teams in a safe, clean facility.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and ERP inventory transactions.
• Strong math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
• Ability to perform visual inspections of parts and materials.
• Experience with cycle counts and bin audits.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and proper storage locations.
• Conduct regular inventory and bin audits.
• Receive components and place in inventory locations.
• Review open work orders and prioritize production needs.
• Enter inventory and job transactions in ERP.
• Print and verify travelers, drawings, and docs.
• Pull inventory per work orders, part numbers, and quantities.
• Assemble and deliver production kits.
• Pull finished products and materials to support customer orders.
• Provide inventory information to internal teams.
• Follow safety procedures and keep area clean.
• Perform visual inspections for accuracy and quality.
• Handle materials safely, organizing and staging.
