Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate in San Leandro, CA to support order fulfillment and inventory tasks. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with overtime as needed, and starting pay is $23/hour or higher based on experience.

Responsibilities include operating a stand-up forklift, using RF devices, and ensuring accurate receiving, staging and stocking of materials, while maintaining a clean and safe workplace with required PPE."

Qualifications

• 0-3 years warehouse experience preferred.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Maintain a clean workspace and contribute to a safe, accident-free environment.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE, including a safety harness up to 400 lbs.
