Aerotek is hiring two Inventory Clerks for San Leandro, CA. Training on swing shift (1pm–9:30pm) for 2–3 weeks, then mornings (5am–1:30pm). You will count finished goods and raw materials, verify locations, and reconcile inventory daily to maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities include FEFO/FIFO, monitoring shelf life, recalls, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and cross-team support. Must lift up to 50 lb and communicate in English; forklift certification preferred.

Job Title: Inventory Clerk - AM

We are seeking two Inventory Clerks to join our team, initially training on the swing shift from 1pm to 9:30pm for approximately 2-3 weeks before transitioning to the morning shift from 5am to 1:30pm. The role involves working in the warehouse area, conducting finished goods and raw material counts to ensure storage locations are accurate, and daily reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct finished goods and raw material counts to ensure storage locations are accurate.
• Reconcile inventory daily and investigate any discrepancies in counts.
• Understand and apply the concepts of FEFO (first-expired-first-out) and FIFO (first-in-first-out) for inventory management.
• Monitor and identify inventory with short shelf life, expired items, and slow-moving products to reduce loss.
• Take ownership of mock recalls and product withdrawals, systematically following product lot codes and transactions.
• Maintain the cycle count schedule to monitor lot/item/location integrity and prioritize issues causing inventory discrepancies.
• Identify and investigate all inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Support team members and assist where needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inventory control, cycle counts, data entry, and warehouse inventory management.
• Experience with shipping and receiving, material handling, and computer skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• At least 12-18 months of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with vehicle-mounted units/scanning.
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Experience in generating reports using Excel.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
