Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of store inventory. This role supports daily cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and accurate receipt and shipping documentation in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive pay. Candidates should have at least one year in inventory control within a big-box retailer, strong attention to detail, and solid customer

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail company or equivalent.
• POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and cycle count procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory cycle counts and category reviews.
• Research discrepancies and adjust inventory in the system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Report tagging/SKUing discrepancies to department managers.
• Audit key inventory processes monthly and ensure accuracy.
• Check customer receipts daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate discrepancies and propose solutions to management.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP.
• Support physical inventory periods as needed.
