Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Hazleton, PA is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk to perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse. You will work with the Inventory Supervisor to support stock control, operate forklifts and reach trucks, and use WMS systems like Synapse.

A HS diploma and 1–3 months of inventory/warehouse experience are preferred; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1-3 months related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software a plus (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical counts of inventory items to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations daily.
• Inputs inventory data to ensure inventory integrity.
• Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
• Operates motorized equipment including Order Picker, Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
• Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
