Job summary

nVent is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support daily cycle counts, audits, and ERP/MRP records. You will investigate discrepancies, train teammates on inventory processes, and partner with Operations, Warehouse, and Finance to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory management.
• ERP/MRP systems experience and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, locations, and cycle count docs in ERP/MRP.
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, and Finance on control initiatives.
• Monitor inventory performance metrics and identify process improvements.
• Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities in warehouse operations.
• Assist with physical inventories and train teammates on processes.
• Support warehouse operations including picking, handling, and shipping/receiving when needed.
