Job summary

Echo Electric, part of Sonepar, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to support accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution across branches. You will coordinate returns, update stock locations, and assist with warehouse and office tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in inventory control, strong data entry skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This role reports to the Operations Manager and follows a 7AM–4PM, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year inventory-control experience preferred.
• Able to work in warehouse and office settings.
• Strong ethics in professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Research inventory using the company system for orders, purchasing, and history.
• Investigate variances and document discrepancies found by others.
• Maintain defective-item records and arrange returns for credit or exchange.
• Review unplanned items and group by vendor for returns or closeout decisions.
• Review slow-moving stock for return, exchange, or credit opportunities.
• Update bin locations and stock shelves; process inventory modifications.
• Serve as the stock-check contact for branches; handle cycle counts.
• Process vendor debits/credits and monitor stockouts with Purchasing.
