Job summary

Echo Electric, a leading unit within the Sonepar family, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to enhance inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. The role involves cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, returns coordination, and maintaining stock data across branches.

Reports to the Operations Manager. Ideal candidates have 1+ year inventory-control experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years inventory-control-related experience.
• Able to work in a warehouse and office setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data entry and 10-key pad use.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Investigate discrepancies and document variances.
• Coordinate product returns and arrange exchanges or credits.
• Update barcodes, stock locations, and warehousing shelves.
• Modify inventory system with appropriate reason codes.
• Serve as contact for branch stock-check inquiries.
• Perform cycle inventories as directed by management.
• Monitor shortages and communicate with Purchasing.
