Job summary

FreezPak Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control professional for the 2nd shift in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on overseeing inventory within our cold storage facilities, ensuring accurate recording and timely fulfillment of orders.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain product integrity while adhering to regulations and company policies. This position offers full-time hours, a Mon-Fri schedule, and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a cold storage environment.
• Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory transactions.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances. Maintain product integrity by ensuring proper storage conditions are consistently met.
• Implement and uphold quality control measures to minimize product damage and loss.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Communicate with customers regarding inventory status and resolve any issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
