Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations with inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTVs, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

There is a strong emphasis on hands-on duties such as forklift operation, stock tagging, and adherence to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

Experience shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend solutions, and ask to add value.
Deliver Legendary Service and coaching to customers and team members.
Complete forklift and propane inspections and use propane as required.
Assist with BOPIS/OMNI reconciliations and related reports.
Receive Direct POs and DC freight, manage transfers and staging.
Stock and tag freight and direct vendor shipments per standards.
Key inventory adjustments and reconciliation per store direction.
Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
