Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accuracy and integrity of store inventory. The role involves daily cycle counts, data analysis of POS reports, and strict adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include auditing various inventory processes, reviewing shipping docs, and communicating discrepancies to management. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with benefits to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail environment.
• Demonstrated POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow cycle counts and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Flag tagging/SKU discrepancies to department managers.
• Audit inventory processes and related SOPs monthly.
• Ensure security of the facility and communicate issues to management.
• Support Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP.
