Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of store inventories. The role involves cycle counting, discrepancy research, and securing proper SKU tagging while supporting shipping/receiving processes.

The position requires at least one year in inventory control within a large retail setting, strong data analysis, and excellent customer service under pressure. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail environment or equivalent.
• POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Flag tagging/SKU discrepancies to managers.
• Audit SOPs and process flows for accuracy and security.
• Monitor vehicle movement and warehouse safety in the work area.
• Support inventory periods with data collection and reporting.
• Ensure changes are implemented and documented.
