Job summary

Floor & Decor in Nashua, NH is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure the store's inventory accuracy and integrity. The role offers both Full-Time and Part-Time positions and involves cycle counting, data review, and discrepancy resolution within established SOPs.

You will audit shipping/receiving, tag/SKU accuracy, and report findings to the Operations Manager. Strong attention to detail, customer service, and multi-tasking are essential in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail environment.
• Demonstrated point-of-sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting procedures.
• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of tagging or SKU discrepancies.
• Audit the BFR daily per SOP.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks monthly for correct movement.
• Audit the SOR and SRR processes per SOP.
• Audit RTVs to ensure proper processing.
• Ensure facility security and report issues to management.
• Audit the customer merchandise storage area weekly and resolve issues.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
• Ensure Sample tape on wood boxes written off to Sam; escalate if needed.
• Run monthly reports to ensure correct movement of merchandise.
• Check at least 10 customer receipts daily and resolve discrepancies.
