Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory.

This role supports both full-time and part-time positions, performing cycle counts, category reviews, and audits to prevent shrink and errors. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of inventory control experience in a big-box retailer, strong analytical skills for POS reporting, and solid customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail setting.
• Demonstrated POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience in business analysis is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow cycle count and category review calendar.
• Audit and adjust inventory in the system for discrepancies.
• Review shipping and receiving docs for accuracy.
• Notify managers of tagging or SKU discrepancies.
• Audit daily and monthly reports to ensure correct merchandise movement.
• Provide assistance during physical inventory periods.
• Communicate discrepancies to Store Management and propose solutions.
