Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Indiana to coach and train warehouse associates while handling diverse duties from shipping/receiving to inventory control. The Lead will back up the supervisor and ensure daily tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

The role requires forklift operation certification, 2+ years in warehousing, and leadership experience in a distribution setting, with a focus on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen must be passed.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training and safety observations.
• Move and stage products; load/unload; perform paperwork per SOPs and regulations.
• Participate in inventory counts and report variances to leadership.
• Serve as backup to supervisor; support other warehouse roles as needed.
